Clean up is still under way...

Here's a pic of the newly painted house taken Saturday10/7 (1 week before the storm pictures I posted)

I have yet to attach the new house numbers -- Maybe this weekend...

The painters used Dulux paint, which we were somewhat apprehensive about, having never used it before. That stuff is THICK! Very impressive. The colors were matched from SW's Arts & Crafts palette. Body color is Roycroft Suede, trim is Rcroft Brass, and accent is Rcroft Polished Mahogany.

Copper window boxes and landscaping to come in the spring...

We like it.

It looks beautiful! I am a new reader- how old is your house and how big is it? Are all the bedroms upstairs? Are all the windows original?

Thanks Carol!

We don't have "official" papers on the house yet, but we found newspapers stuffed in the walls dating to March 1905. There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor and the attic has 2 finished rooms. The whole house is approx 1700 sq feet.

Front attic windows are original, as are all on the first floor. Second floor front and back, and attic rear windows are brand new.
